Two clans, Rainclan and Leafclan, living together in harmony for as long as anycat can remember in the peaceful, sunny tropics of the wilderness of Northern Florida. They have had hundreds of peaceful Gatherings and dozens of leaders who passed away from old age.
If only it could stay that way forever.
The Twolegs have come, but they're leaving the Clans alone, in fact, they're even leaving their dry, tasteless food out for the Clans to eat. Disgusting, but a nice gesture all the same.
No, it's the dogs who are the problem. They have invaded the camps and scared away the prey. It's only time before we have to leave all together.
But a kittypet named Blackie has offered another way out.
"My owners would be glad to have you," she says. "You can move in with them, and they would give you free run of the place, so you could still have your mice and voles."
So what's it going to be? Are you a soft kittypet who wants to live with Twolegs? Or will you tough it out and stay?
Or will you have to move?
It all depends on your choice, stranger. Stay... or go?
