Imagine a world, the second of two diverging paths, that is not quite right, that is not quite... the same.
Imagine now a universe where the betrayal of Ansem the Wise's apprentices not occurring a decade before the destruction of Destiny Islands, but rather, two years beforehand. Nothing that much could change, right?
Right?
Here is a world where the inhabitants of Destiny Islands remained naive prior to the destruction of their home, where Riku exists crawling from world to world, not corrupt but no longer pure. Imagine now where the great heartless, Ansem, fled from the Keyblade for two years, and where the original six of the Organization cling to their non-existence without knowing how or why.
And imagine, now, what a single new variable could do.
