What is Balamb Garden?
Balamb Garden is a role-playing forum created by Rinoa Heartilly. Balamb Garden is a place for Final Fantasy VIII members to join together, discuss both Final Fantasy related and unrelated topics, and role-play in the Final Fantasy VIII world.
Balamb Garden is set up to have every area found in the game's Balamb Garden. At times we actually teach classes, at other times we don't have enough teachers. It just depends. There are other areas, like the world map, to explore during role-playing as well.
There are self-created characters and canon characters found throughout the site, all role-playing together. Sometimes there will be major rpgs requiring deep stories, while at other times the plots will be less thick.
The time-frame of this site (unless specifically stated at the begining of a thread or area) is after the end of Disc Four, but without spoiling the ending for anyone. Rinoa is the head of the Garden on this site.
