They Can't Take Our Rights
Name:
Marluxia
Age:
Unknown, appears to be in twenties
Personality:
One trait that one would probably notice in Marluxia upon meeting him for the first time is his almost cold calm visage. He hardly ever portrays emotions because he sees no point, he knows that he is nothing but an empty shell, though this knowledge brings him no comfort. Marluxia, always calculating the things around him, trying to find ways to turn things in his favor. He prefers to manipulate events, using one enemy to rid himself of another if possible. Although he only fights as a last recourse, he does not abhor combat as some would assume. In fact, he quite enjoys the rush of it because one of the few times that he feels almost alive is when his life is on the line. He recognizes the addiction of the fighting high though, and does not feed into the impulse to fight when it is not nessecery.
Because he is a Nobody Marluxia feels nothing, not sorrow, not joy, simply nothing. He 'hates' and likes this state of being at the same time. As an emotionally empty shell he is a perfect machine, no emotions to cloud his judgement, nothing to subtract from his thoughts. But he finds the condition to be unbearable at the same time. An existence without feeling is almost meaningless, and the only meaning that Marluxia can find is feel once again, to reclaim his stolen heart. Marluxia believes his unfeeling existence to be one of his greatest advantages, but it is also one of his greatest weakness's.
Marluxia allows almost nothing to phase him, with the exception of one thing. He cannot stand for one mocking him for his heartless existence, for one who does not share his position to even mention his lack of feeling. He does not lose himself in a fury, but Marluxia's calm visage becomes no more. He cannot help himself but 'pretend' to be enraged in reaction to the insult that speaking of his heartlessness delivers him. Mostly though, Marluxia knows that to react like that is to be weak, and he attempts his best to contain himself.
Among Marluxia's favorite tools is manipulation, and Marluxia knows many different ways of manipulating people. Because of his skill set, Marluxia is also very excellent when it comes to reading other people, although Nobody's are harder to read then someone with a heart, Marluxia has been able to read them as well. Generally Marluxia always knows which card to play, whether it be sympathy, intimidationg, even pretending to be a friend to someone. Sometimes when the situation calls for it Marluxia will even manipulate a person when they know he is doing it, such as using something they want to make them do what he wants. Whatever the tactics, Marluxia is as dangerous a foe when it comes to mental warfare as he is in an actual fight.
Because of Marluxia's appearance and element some people assume that he is effeminate, but personality wise Marluxia displays no traits that would indicate this. He does not concern himself with the opinion of others, and anyone who knows him would not dare to ridicule him. Marluxia's element is no accident, he has displayed on numerous occasions his 'love' for flowers and even tends to a garden during his free time. One of the reasons he desires a heart is so that he could truly appreciate flowers like he did when he was a whole being, but that is one of his lesser reasons for wanting to have a heart once more.
When it comes to his relationships with other Organization members, Marluxia finds himself mostly disliked. He has a great disliking for the Superior, who he believes has led them astray for far to long. He allows Xemnas to continue with his facade of confidence because he knows that he would have no better ideas if he was to become leader. The instant that Marluixa finds an option concrete enough he would consider the possibility of overthrowing Xemnas, or perhaps just reclaiming his own heart and leaving the other Organization members to revel in this heartlessness.
He also dislikes Saix, who he sees as nothing but a stupidly loyal dog to Xemnas, more of a pet then anything else. He cares nothing for Xaldin or Xigbar, or even Lexaeus for that matter, seeing as nothing more then pawns for the Organization. He views Zexion as something of a rival because of his own abilities to think and manipulate. Vexen is something of a joke to Marluxia, always demanding respect because he's number IV in the Organization, but in Marluxia's eyes he never did anything to earn it. Roxas is nothing more then a tool, though Marluxia holds a special distaste for him because of his relation to Sora.
Even more then Xemnas, Marluxia severly dislikes Axel. One of the few Nobody's to actually earn what could be called trust, Axel had betrayed him. Marluxia does not intend to put aside his 'hate' for Axel, but he would not allow him to gain the pleasure of knowing that Marluxia actually felt betrayed, that he had allowed Axel to affect him that much. The only other person that Marluxia has trusted like that was Larxene, the only member of the Organization that he thinks better of. Practicaly an opposite of Marluxia in many ways, Larxene has become almost invaulable to Marluxia. Her readiness to get her hands dirty when Marluxia prefers not to has served him well, and hopefully will continue to do so.
What game are you from/or are you a OC: Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories/358/2 Days
History:
No one aside from Marluxia knows of his past, and it is possible that he does not, or chooses not to remember any of it because he hasn't spoken of it to anyone. The earliest back that anyone knows of his past is the day that Xigbar found and recruited him into the Organization. Marluxia quickly proved that he didn't care for his position as the lowest ranking member in the Organization, and went about trying to attain as much power in the Order that he could procure. When Marluxia met Larxene he did not care much for her, but as the time went on he came to the conclusion that she could be a very useful tool indeed, and decided that he should at least have one other ally in the Organization.
Much to the disliking of several of the other Organization members, Xemnas appointed Marluxia as the head of Castle Oblivion for some unknown reason. Marluxia assumed that the Superior recognized the Graceful Assassin's potential and was giving him more power because of it. Marluxia was very pleased at the advance of his position, but he still did not have the respect from the other members that he wished to have. Marluxia then begins to formulate a plan to overthrow Xemnas's position as the Superior and become the leader of the Organization.
Though the plan was shakey at first, it gained much more weight when the young Nobody Namine was brought into his plans, as well as Axel. The concept was complete when Sora found his way to Castle Oblivion, and Marluxia knew that he had all the tools he needed, as if they had practically fallen into his lap. Marluxia was the first to meet Sora, explaining to him the challenges of Castle Oblivion and even giving him the cards that he would require to make his way through.
Marluxia forces Namine to use her powers over memory to alter Sora's, to make him believe that he sworn to protect Namine, which motivated him to go up the Castle's floors. Marluxia also manipulates Vexen into becoming part of his plans. Axel, Vexen, and Larxene all take turns individually fighting Sora, though not at their full power, throwing the fights. During the encounters they would each feed him information to keep him moving, to ensnare him further into Marluxia's web of deciet.
When Vexen introduces his Riku Replica into the game, Marluxia uses him to introduce a rivalry to Sora, having the two of them race to reach Namine first, to fulfill their own promise before the other can. Soon after Marluxia and Larxene learn that Vexen had been informing Zexion on their plans, and decide to find a way to remove him from events. Marluxia finds his opportunity when Vexen loses control of the Riku Replica, and threatens to tell the Superior. Vexen pleads with him not to, and Marluxia pretends to compromise by telling Vexen that if he eliminated Sora, that he would not.
After Vexen leaves, Marluxia orders Axel to kill Vexen if Sora does not. Before Vexen could tell Sora of Marluxia's plans, Axel kills him and ends his threat to Marluxia, just as he had planned. Because of Axel's actions he earns Marluxia's trust, and Marluxia sets him to guard Namine from escaping. Instead of doing what Marluxia wanted him to do though, Axel allowed Namine to escape, effectively ruining Marluxia's plot. Larxene then leaves to attack Sora, only to meet her end at his Keyblade, leaving Marluxia the only one left to carry on his goals.
He confronts Axel about his betrayel only to be called a traitor. Axel states that Larxene paid the price of disloyalty and then threatens to kill Marluxia for his own. This incites a furious battle between the two, but neither can get an upper hand on the other. In the end Marluxia uses Namine as a shield, causing Axel to say that he would go through Namine to get to him, just as Sora enters the room. Marluxia uses the opportunity to make Axel fight Sora and disappears into the final room with Namine.
Sora defeats Axel and moves onto the final room to confront Marluxia. Once Sora enters the room Marluxia orders Namine to erase Sora's memory so that he could make him into something more to his liking, threatening to kill Namine if she doesn't. Namine however refuses the command, but Sora tells her to do it for her own safety, much to the confusion of Marluxia. The Riku Replica then appears, coming to Sora's aid. Outraged that they would both accept their memories of Namine regardless of the fact that they are a lie Marluxia attacks them. Sora defeats Marluxia, only to find that it was a fake copy, and that the real Marluxia was behind a door.
Sora enters the door only to find Marluxia atop a large machine-like Nobody. Regardless of the power that Marluxia wields in this form Sora defeats him, and much to Marluxia's dismay he fades into darkness, though that was not the end of Marluxia. Through mysterious circumstances Marluxia and the other Organizations members have come back to life. Marluxia does not know how, but he intends to make much more of this second chance then he had made of the first.

Weapons:
Graceful Dahlia; a beautifully colored scythe
Powers:
Marluxia has a range of diverse and somewhat powerful abilities resulting to his most harmless effects such as traversing world to world to the most dangerous in his arsenal, manipulation. Such offensive abilities comprise of the molecules in the air become charge emitted a neon glow and pass the charge on as they hit a target resulting in pain with attacks such as a shock wave or a wave blade made from the scythe. Marluxia can manipulate the element of nature and can cause razor sharp flowers of all species to appear and create techniques such as a sphere of roses to surround an enemy and drive in to deal heavy damage or simply cause plants to grow to whatever size he wishes them to be. Another odd ability is the way he can sink into the ground to waist height and begin spinning at an uncontrollable rate swinging his scythe in a vertical manner dividing enemies caught within its grasp.Marluxia also uses a unique teleportation method which can be used in succession of three times to make combo attacks using it or can warp to one end of the area to the other. Marluxia can also use flowers to make a fake clone of himself, though the clone is nowhere near as powerful as he is.

Custom Title: The Graceful Assassin
Sample RP:
It was a dismal day for the Graceful Assassin, to say the least. He had not long ago returned from the infinite depths of Nothingness, but he had yet to encounter another of his kind. Was he the only Nobody to return from the damned? Marluxia highly doubted that possibility, why would he be the only one? It would not be because he was the strongest, for Marluxia knew that his martial prowess could be outdone by a few of the other Organization members. What if Xemnas had returned as well? Marluxia frowned slightly at the thought, would the Superior know of his attempted betrayal? Had Axel survived long enough to inform the Organization of the events that took place in Castle Oblivion? It was an all to real possibility, one that he could do nothing but assume that it had happened for real. Would Xemnas forgive him and Larxene, or would they be condemned? He mused silently to himself over these things, it would be best to avoid the majority of the other Nobody's, with the exception of Larxene, until he could sort out what was happening.
How far had Sora gotten? Had he eliminated the entire Organization? Marluxia knew that only more or less half of the XIII had fallen to that fell Keyblade, but had Sora attempted to finish the job? Had the boy failed, and hopefully died? Marluxia enjoyed the thought of Sora fading away from life, but not as much as he enjoyed the thought of being the one to deliver the final blow himself. If it hadn't been for Sora, Marluxia would still be alive. The same thing applied to that blasted red-head, Axel. How he had destroyed all of Marluxia's careful plans with one simple action; freeing Namine. What a fool Axel had been, if he had only remained loyal to Marluxia then they could have been ruling the Organization together by now. He had done nothing to Axel except offer the hand of friendship, or the closets thing a Nobody could have to friendship. But he supposed he found the events to be ironic, Axel had betrayed the betrayer.
He tightend his fist in a mock expression of anger, releasing it a moment later. Since when did Marluxia pretend to feel an emotion? He did not feed into this pathetic mockery of true life, Marluxia reveled in his nothingness. He was everything because of the emptiness in side of him, and nothing a the same time. Of course Marluxia didn't completely deny himself expressions, he would be another Xemnas if he acted that way. No, Marluxia did not want to be Xemnas, he simply wanted his power. Marluxia decided that he had thought upon these things for long enough now, he had more important business to attend to, such as learning which of the other Organization members were still alive. Hopefully Larxene had returned, she would make things much easier on the Graceful Assassin.
