Appears to be fifteen, but seeing as how he was born into his current state, he chronologically only a few days old, give or take.
Personality:
Being a clone of the real Riku, the Replica shares various personality traits that Riku held at the time of his creation. The negative traits that he shares with Riku though are much worse. Arrogant in his power, believing that he because he wields darkness that he is superior to a Riku who is afraid of it. He thinks that his willing acceptance of the dark power should make him more then a match for his original, but finds on a couple of occasions that the real Riku is still superior to him, not only in power but in many other ways too.
Because of the fact that he is a fake, the Replica is a very angry person. He hates Riku for being real while he is only a copy, forced to live out a life in his shadow no matter what he does. Regardless of that, he strives to become more then just a fake, attempting to do whatever he can to make himself real in his own eyes. Like the original Riku he also has a rivalry with Sora, mainly because of the fake memories that Namine had implanted into him. The feelings that he gained from the fake memories remained even after he once again became away of the fact that he is nothing but a clone, and cannot help but act to Sora like a fifteen year old Riku had.
He also retains the feelings for Namine that his fake memories gave him, more specifically the urge to protect her no matter what. Realizing that he only feels that way because of what Namine had done to him, the Replica finds himself resenting the small Nobody as much as he wants to protect her, though he can't help his inherited nature and do anything but keep her safe. Like the real Riku he is brave and unafraid of most things except what happens when he dies, thinking that as a fake he would simply become nothing.
He also resents the Organization as a whole, for it was because of them that he gained the memories of the real Riku and believed himself to be his original. The only member that he isn't abrasive with now is Vexen, though he still harbors dark feelings for the Chilly Academic because of the fact that he was the one that gave him his empty life. He dislikes Axel for the false promises he received from the Flurry of Dancing Flames as he did not come any closer to being his own purpose when taking Zexion's power. He hates Marluxia and Larxene for engineering the plot to make him believe himself to be the real Riku, as well as because they treat Namine like a play toy.

History:
Unlike most clones that exist in various fictions and the like, Riku Replica was born with the knowledge that he was a clone. Undaunted by this fact at first, he held a determination to prove the real Riku that he was his own person. After learning the full situation from his creator, Vexen, Riku Replica was set out to encounter the original in his first attempt to prove himself. He met the real Riku face to face, claiming that because he did not fear the darkness that he would defeat him. Unfortunately for the copy, he was defeated regardless of Riku's resistance towards the darkness. He retreated in his defeat, going back to Vexen to heal his wounds and plan the next battle, one that he would do whatever he could to win.
While the Replica made plans to defeat the real Riku, Vexen told the Nobody's of the top floor about his experiment. The Replica stated that he was fine with his own heart, regardless of the fact that he was nothing but a copy. Larxene then stepped in and decided that they could use the Replica for Sora, as long as Namine gave him a new heart. Though he resisted to his best efforts, it proved futile in the end. Believing himself to be the real Riku, the Replica encountered Sora for the first time on one of the floors of Castle Oblivion. He eventually revealed that he had a charm just like Sora's, and that he would protect Namine as his fake memories of her made him feel incredibly loyal to her. Several times the Replica faced off with Sora, the Keyblader never suspecting that the Riku he was fighting was a fake.
On their last battle, the Replica came so close to winning that Namine was forced to step in, smashing his heart and rendering him a helpless doll. Larxene went on to explain to Sora about the Replica, how he was not the real Riku, only a fake, though the Savage Nymph met her end at the proceeding battle. While Sora continued to move through the Castle, Namine went about restoring the Replica's memories, making him aware of the fact that he is a fake once again. When Sora finally makes it to Marluxia, only to find that he is holding Namine hostage, the Replica appears to aid the Keyblader by taking Namine from Marluxia's grip. He helped Sora in the fight, only to find that the Marluxia was nothing but a shadow of the Graceful Assassin. He let Sora go on to defeat the real Marluxia while he stayed behind and guarded Namine.
Once Sora defeated Marluxia for the final time the Replica parted with them, wanting to find some way to be his own person and not just a copy anymore. He ends up falling in with Axel, who told the Replica that he could become more unique by taking someone else's powers, more specifically Zexion. After killing the Cloaked Schemer as a result of taking his energy, the Replica finds that he still doesn't feel like his own person at all. He decides that the only way to become a real person would be to kill Riku, and appears before him in front of the Twilight Town Mansion. The battle ended in his defeat, and the Replica found that he was beginning to fade away. While he died he wondered where heart would go, Riku telling him that it would go to the same place as his. He then completely faded after saying that the real Riku would say something like that.

The ball does a good deal of damage and explodes on contact, meaning that if someone moved to the side they could still be hit by the explosion if it landed close enough to them. One of his most powerful moves is Dark Aura, where the Replica floats into the air and cuts through the space of a circle from many different directions, making it more then difficult to dodge.
