They Can't Take Our Rights
Name: Kuja
Age: 24
Personality: Elegant, poetic, and utterly narcissistic, Kuja plays the role of the villain with as much flair and sophistication as any of the world's greatest actors. While he has a definite love for luxury, he is not motivated by such earthly desires as greed so much as he is his own whim; his capricious nature and his selfishness feed off of each other, his flights of fancy always birthing some new desire, and once he decides he wants something he will pursue it until he possesses it. Persuading him otherwise is a lost cause -- and stopping him, nearly impossible.
The root of this perpetual self-indulgence is, no doubt, his excessive vanity; essentially, he deserves to get what he wants for no other reason than because he is himself. He sees himself as God's gift to the world, even so far as to think it unfair that the worlds should continue to exist without him -- and that just so happens to be his greatest fear: his own mortality. The very thought of his own death enrages him, even though he has absolutely no regard for anyone else's life. Provoke him, and he will go absolutely berserk -- for this is the fear that will drive him to insanity, and this is the fear that will break him in the end.

History: SPOILERS LOL
Kuja is one of the many Genomes created by Garland, meant to speed along the process of Terra's assimilation of planet Gaia. His birth was something of an accident; Genomes are not meant to possess souls, as they are meant to be vessels for Terran souls once Gaia was fully annexed. Kuja, however, had a will of his own, and his self-identity caused him to become mortal. Garland considered destroying him because of this "defect," but instead decided to use him as a tool to speed along the assimilation. Thus, Kuja was sent to Gaia to cause as much death and destruction as possible.
Because Kuja possessed his own soul, he turned out to be far more powerful than any other Genome created; however, Garland still considered him an imperfect prototype, and immediately started on plans to create a more powerful Genome to replace him. Feeling threatened by the thought of his own expiration, jealous Kuja kidnapped the child Genome and took him to Gaia, where he left him to die. Unfortunately for Kuja, the child Genome was found by a man named Baku, who raised him as his own son -- Zidane Tribal.
Unaware that his brother survived, Kuja continued to serve as Garland's "Angel of Death," supplying legions of Black Mages to the powerhungry Queen Brahne to feed her ambitions for war. He used the queen to extract Eidolons from Garnet and others, which only caused more death and destruction. Eventually, Brahne doublecrossed Kuja, attacking him with the Eidolon Bahamut. Bahamut hardly even landed a scratch, though, and Kuja took advantage of the opportunity to take control of the Eidolon, thus using it to annihilate Brahne's fleet and indirectly cause the queen's death. Her soul is the catalyst that triggers Kuja's ability to achieve Trance.
Later, Kuja summoned Bahamut to destroy the Kingdom of Alexandria, but Garnet and Eiko called forth the kingdom's guardian Eidolon, Alexander, to defend them. Alexander destroyed Bahamut, and an impressed Kuja decided to take control of Alexander instead. His efforts were interrupted by Garland, who used the airship The Invincible to destroy both the kingdom of Alexandria and its guardian Eidolon. Kuja got pissed off and left. Zidane and his group followed, only to be captured by Kuja and coerced into helping him get to Mount Gulug, where he attempted to extract Eidolons from Eiko. He failed miserably and they escaped, but Kuja figured out how to use his Trance form (EMOTIONS!) and became uber powerful or something.
SO THEN Zidane and company made their way to Terra, where they confronted Garland after finding out the truth about Zidane and Kuja. Kuja showed up and punted Garland off a balcony, sending him to his death, then entered Trance and beat the crap out of the entire party. Then Garland's voice reached Kuja from beyond the grave, revealing that he is, in fact, very mortal, and was only meant to exist until Zidane became of age; the truth caused Kuja to go insane, and in his fit of madness he destroyed Terra.
Kuja returned to Gaia to destroy it as well, summoning Deathguise and then Necron in order to end all life. Both summons are defeated by Zidane, and Kuja is defeated as well. Exhausted of his strength, and having finally accepted his own demise, Kuja uses the last of his magic to transport Zidane's group outside of the Iifa Tree to allow them to escape its collapse. The rest of the group go, but Zidane returns to Kuja to save him; in their last moments together, Kuja expresses regret for everything he's done, and Zidane comforts him until he closes his eyes. As the tree's roots engulfs them both, Zidane covers Kuja's body with his own to protect him, and neither is seen again for quite some time. Zidane does, in fact, manage to survive, and returns home to Queen Garnet; Kuja's fate, on the other hand, is never made known.

We will fight
Weapons: Kuja does not rely on physical weapons; all of his attacks are magic-based.
Powers: Kuja's powers mainly revolve around casting spells, but he also has some interesting attributes that give him an edge in battle. He has the capability to take control of various Eidolons and monsters, including dragons, and can use them as both steeds and weapons. In addition to his powerful magic, it is difficult to actually injure him; even some of the most powerful Eidolons are unable to land a scratch on him, and his quick, agile flying makes him a very difficult target to hit. If not for his extreme overconfidence, he would truly be a nightmarish opponent -- however, he tends to take a great many gambles, and luck isn't always on his side.
When in battle, Kuja surrounds himself with five glowing orbs that circle him as he floats. It is through these orbs that he both attacks and defends himself. Lastly, when Kuja experiences an extreme surge of emotion, he enters Trance; his physical appearance drastically changes, and both his defensive and offensive powers are amplified exponentially. Trance doesn't last forever, though, and once it is broken, the resulting exhaustion leaves Kuja extremely vulnerable.

- Flare Star: A fire-based attack that hails several fireballs down upon an opponent.
- Snatch Blow: Uses the five magical orbs to strike the opponent multiple times, dealing both physical and magical damage.
- Ring Holy: Magical rings of energy are sent hurdling towards the opponent. They are somewhat difficult to dodge as they home in on the opponent, but they are fairly slow-moving, and they are easily deflected -- Kuja himself can be hurt by them.
- Remote Flare: An instant spell that can cause magical explosions within a short distance. Their appearance is extremely abrupt, and as such the enemy has a very small window of opportunity to dodge them.
- Ultima: His most powerful attack, used only as a last resort; the amount of destruction caused by this spell is inconceivable, and death is almost certain for anyone who gets caught up in its range. Because this ability is so powerful, it can only be used while in Trance form, and only in the most dire of circumstances (i.e. facing death).
