They Can't Take Our Rights
Name: Axel
Age: Appears 18, is actually somewhere between 8 and 2.
Personality: (From my account at Confused Memories.)
Cocky, in a word, but also laid back and quick to make the most of a situation, or spell something out. He knows too much, and while he doesn’t exactly keep that a secret, by the time he does something self-incriminating it’s too late for his victim to squeal. His sarcastic sense of humor lets him play off Larxene’s, but the only people he actually seems to trust are Roxas and Xion—and even then he doesn’t hesitate to resort to violence when things aren’t going well. While he seems just as determined to get his heart back as any other member of the Organization, the fact that Roxas—and possibly Xion—is around keeps him simmered down and could be a source of leverage in a tight spot. Not that provoking him is a good idea given his blood-streaked history, and let’s not forget about the fire and the spikes and the hurting.
What game are you from/or are you a OC: Kingdom Hearts (II, Chain of Memories/Re:Chain of Memories, and 358/2 Days)
History: Axel joined the Organization at some indeterminate point in the past and generally works by picking out the cracks in it and using them to his advantage. As Number VIII, he has definitely been with them for some time, but the only people he really bonded with were Xion and Roxas, Numbers XIII and XIV.
Axel was sent to Castle Oblivion with almost half the Organization in order to commandeer Sora and turn him into a puppet. But Axel was also privy to the mutiny smoldering under Marluxia’s composed disposition, and after eliminating Vexen before Number IV could do the same, he sought to undermine Marluxia by letting Naminé escape and rescue Sora from his plans. This also resulted in Larxene’s death and ultimately Marluxia’s, although Axel had to face Sora when he proved a danger to Naminé. From there, he took control of the Replica that Vexen had made of Riku and used it to destroy Zexion.
And so Axel was the only one to return home from Castle Oblivion with an excuse for every Nobody he’d wiped out.
He then spent about a year with Roxas and Xion while Sora slept, but lost them both to DiZ in the end. The Organization sent him after Roxas, at first to recapture him, but when the Keybearer wouldn’t cooperate Axel was ordered to eliminate him. At first he argued for Roxas’s survival, but given that his choices were to kill his best friend or be turned into a Dusk and watch his best friend get killed, he quickly saw that he would have to cut his losses.
Roxas wasn’t happy to see him again, even if he almost fooled Axel into thinking he remembered everything about the Organization. When DiZ froze Axel to allow Roxas to escape, it became all too clear to Axel that his best friend was gone forever. So he faced the boy who wasn’t Roxas anymore in the basement of the mansion and lost, and was captured. But Riku allowed him to escape along with Naminé, and it was at her request that he made for the islands and took Kairi.
But Saix intervened, and Axel made another appearance at Hollow Bastion--this time to make Sora aware of the truth about the Organization and how he was being used. Kairi wasn’t with him, and when Saix chased him off it became apparent that she was now in the Organization’s hands.
Axel’s last appearance was between the data Twilight Town and The World That Never Was, where he made the ultimate sacrifice in order to supplement Sora’s survival and eventual defeat of the Organization.

We will fight
Weapons: Chakrams (a pair of pointy spiky things that are resistant to fire and boomerang back to him whenever he needs them to)
Powers: Axel controls fire, and there’s not a lot he can’t do with it, but he’s developed certain techniques:
-The Organization standard ability to travel through Corridors of Darkness and personalized Nobodies called Assassins that can strike from the ground or the air or explode in a kamikaze attack
-A barrage of fireballs that knock the opponent back
-A form of teleportation that involves leaping into the air and disappearing into fire for an instant; short-range
-Throwing a single chakram and teleporting behind the victim both to catch it and avoid a counterattack
-Creating an arena of fire with a floor of magma, either for a short time or for as long as he can manage
-Pillars of fire that shoot up from the ground at his opponents, similar to the fireballs that knock them back
-A blazing inferno that will harm anyone on the ground or unlucky enough to get hit by the flames
How did you find us: I’m Axel, Naminé, and Sora on A Moment Like This.
Custom Title: The Flurry of Dancing Flames
Sample RP: The same light fell on Twilight Town, even when it wasn’t real. Warm oranges and yellows bathed the smooth buildings and rough streets in gold, and Axel’s every action resulted as it would if the place were real. It was similar to Naminé’s Twilight Town, back at Castle Oblivion, but that had been a little foggier, like a dream. This was stark reality, a little too real for comfort, and yet sometimes he could catch things wiggling or convulsing in a spasm of static if he looked hard enough.
Roxas is here.
It was hard to believe, even though it made the most sense. Xemnas had found Roxas here so long ago, after all--here but not here. Just like DiZ to hide something in plain sight.
He frowned at the Dusk who tugged at the hem of his robe, its unearthly whisper echoing in his ears as it shoved a photograph at him urgently. At first he tried to shove it aside--stupid things, Dusks, they couldn’t seem to process more than data and got hung up on every little detail--but a spot of yellow in the photo stopped him and he snatched it. Jade eyes narrowed in scrutiny at first and then widened, taking in the awkward smile of a Roxas caught with some blond kid’s arm flung haphazardly around his shoulders.
The redhead was momentarily stunned by the sight of Roxas with a best friend who wasn’t Axel.
He didn’t have the heart to hurt at that, but he burned the photo anyway and turned to the Dusk.
“Bring him to me.”
