Personality: Jecht is known to be a bit brash. He's not above insulting someone for kicks, and treats his son with a sense of disrespect. However, despite this, he has been known to be a genuinely good person at heart, if a bit careless in his antics.
What game are you from/or are you a OC: Final Fantasy X/X-2
History:Jecht, the father of Tidus, was originally from Dream Zanarkand. He was a star blitzball player for the local team, the Zanarkand Abes. He even created his signature move, the Sublimely Magnificent Jecht Shot Mk. III. He was out training at sea when he came into contact with Sin. The contact pulled him out of Dream Zanarkand and thrust him into Spira.
Upon arriving in present-day Spira he was thrown into jail at Bevelle after he was taken as a crazy drunkard. While in jail he was approached by High Summoner Braska and the Bevelle monk Auron. Braska requested he become his second guardian, much to Auron's protest. Jecht eventually accepted and they prepared for their journey. However, before departing, Jecht told Yuna many stories about his life in the Dream Zanarkand.
Over the course of the journey, Jecht gave up drinking anything stronger than shoopuf milk. The reason being an incident with a shoopuf that required Braska to pay for damages with all of his traveling money. He also matured, learning about Spira and the fate of the real Zanarkand, evidenced by Auron who said he would suggest they help those they come across because it was "the right thing to do." This usually led to trouble for the trio. This also practically mirrored Tidus' journey ten years later.
When it came time to summon the Final Aeon, Jecht, realizing he could never return to his home, willingly allowed Braska to use him as the Fayth. Before this happened, he asked Auron to watch over Tidus, believing he could get to Dream Zanarkand As the Final Aeon Jecht defeated Sin, but the process continued and he became the new core of Sin. While Sin, he would only be in control upon hearing the Hymn of the Fayth. He eventually made his way back to Dream Zanarkand where he communicated with Auron and brought the now Undead Monk and his son to Spira.
