Let me start off by admitting that this idea was very shamelessly swiped from Fantasmic! v.2.0.
Okay. With that said, and before any of you shake your heads and say "Kitty, you're crazy, and this will never work; the time zones!" I'm going to propose that we all get together in some chat room on some designated date and watch a movie together. (Lol, vague.) Why? Because we're a rather charming bunch of people who probably have oodles of commentary to spill about whatever we watch and to be honest I've grown rather fond of you all (Crow being the obvious exception). It'll be fun! ♥
But before we can make it happen, I need massive input. S'where you guys come in.
Kinks that need to be worked out in order for this to work:
-What chat system will we use?
Honestly, we have several options. There's MSN Messenger, Meebo, or our very own site chatbox. If you have other suggestions plz to be letting me know.
-What date works for everyone who wants to participate?
I'm guessing afternoons/evenings on weekends is when most people are available, so as of right now the (extremely) tentative date is Saturday, October 10th at 7 PM EST. Again, this isn't set in stone. At all.
-What movie do we watch?
Suggestions are super-duper welcome, though Zidane and I were thinking something Dreamworks or Disney.
-Who's bringing the popcorn??
This is serious business.
I think I've covered it all. Of course there'll be issues the day of, like syncing the movie, but it's nothing capable folks like us can't handle. Please hit the reply button and let me know what's up, and we'll shift this event around accordingly.
