Personality:Riku tends to be the competitive one. He always is up for some challenge, and is always willing to show off, especially infront of Kairi. Or if it is a game and Sora is involved, he will go to any lengths to beat his best friend. He is never the sensitive type, and is very outgoing. He has no trouble speaking his mind, nor does he have any problem with fighting for what he believes in. Or to protect his friends. Even though he does not show it, he loves his friends, and would do anything for them.

History:Growing up Riku had become best friends with Sora, and on one strange night there was a meteor shower, this is when Kairi appeared. Apperantly she was from another world. Soon after the three became best of friends. After Kairi arrived Riku and Sora spent much time in the secret place, a small cave that they frequently explore. After Sora leaves the cave Riku notices a door inside the cave, soon after Riku became obssessed with this door and wanted to see what was behind it, believing it lead to other worlds.
The three spent countless hours working on a raft and getting supplies ready, wanting to go off and explore other worlds. In doing so a small rivarly begins to take place between Sora and Riku, doing small competitions to prove who is stronger. One night before they set off Riku decides to open the door and see what is behind it inside the secret place. After doing so the heartless show up, and Riku disappears into the darkness. Riku thens hows up on Hallow Bastion and is soon confronted by Maleficant who offers shelter and protection, he accepts the offer, and joins at her side.
As the days go on Riku began to develop a hatred for Sora, because of his new friendship with Donald and Goofy. He sets his mind on one objective, bringing Kairi back, because she has lost her heart to the darkness. Riku battles with Sora for an extended amount of time still searching for Kairi, which is also what Sora was trying to do. After losing a battle to Sora, Riku is offered a chance to become one with the darkness and recieve his own keyblade, he once again accepts the offer.
Xehanort's Heartless had posssessed Riku's mind, and a final battle began between Ansem and Sora. As the battle went on Riku used his last bit of strength to fight off Ansem, and Riku ultimatly looses, but Sora and his friends were saved by Riku's last bit of strength. Later, Riku loses control of his body once more and Xehanort's Heartless takes control, confronting Sora and the gang once more. The Heartless is destroyed, and Riku gains control of his body, in which he joins King Mickey behind the Door to Darkness.
Kingdom Hearts II
Riku allies himself with DiZ, to help awaken Sora. He was sent to kidnap Roxas, and by doing so he would be able to awaken Sora. During the battle between Roxas and Riku, Riku must relay upon the darkness once more, which he uses to defeat Roxas and bring him back to DiZ. Riku later on meets up with King Mickey, after Sora is awoken. Riku travels to the various worlds to help aid Sora, and the others in their quest.
Later Riku travels to The World That Never Was, and meets up with King Mickey and DiZ, who is Ansem the Wise. Ansem tries to encode Kingdom Hearts into data using a machine. The machine, however, explodes and releases countless heartless on the world. The explosion had brought Riku back to his original form, however. Riku meets up with Sora and aids them in their final battle against Xemnas. After Xemnas' defeat Sora opens the Door to Light, and him and Riku are able to return home to their friend, Kairi, on Destiny Islands.

Sample RP:"I let them down," Riku muttered, as he fell to his knees. The only thing that held him up was the keyblade he had used as a cane. He felt weak, full of remorse, and useless. He did not want to give up, but he felt as if he had to. He had been battling for hours, and his foe had bested him every time he tried to strike. Infront of him he heard the laughs of his foe.
"Don't give up. You can't. They are depending on you."
Riku whispered once more, and his pain went away, the adrenaline subsided his pain, eased his muscles, and gave him new life. As he rose the laughter stopped, Riku shot his head up, staring down his foe now.
"Hide beneath your robes," Riku yelled as he jumped forward and sent his keyblade swinging, "it is I who will be laughing at the end of the day."
Blood trickled from his weapon of choice, he had finally connected, the wound was not deep, but atleast it was a start. He grinned at the success, and the real battle had just begun.
