In the west was the city next to the glittering sea. The people bustled here to get to work and others lived a life of luxury and fun. In the east sat a small rural town surrounded by great fields and orchards. Farmers and people who wanted a simpler life stayed here. Between the two places was the school where both of the town's children went to learn. There were also other places that sat between the large gap of the town and the city.

All of this was unimportant though, even if it was all of her creation.

The wind blew through the empty field save for a lone dead looking tree. The grass itself became a sea of green as the breeze went through it, clouds passing over the sun slowly and then letting light through again. This created a mystifying effect on the area; some places lit up while the others were cast in the shadows of the clouds.

A young girl was huddled against the base of the lone tree, her back against it as she hunched over an object in her lap. It looked like a massive bloomed flower, the petals holding in a large glass dome that sat upon it. Within the glass different pictures of people and places were projected like little movies. The world that had become dull and boring to her was becoming more interesting. The more strangers she brought, the more exciting it got. Best of all, they would not age in her world, so they would never die. She smiled a little while placing a small hand on the glass possessively.

Welcome to Twilight, where beings from different worlds all meet in one. Your character will be pulled from their home and placed in this environment for the amusement of Fate, the creator of the small world. It's up to them and others to find the answers and seek a way off of this place and to return to where they belong.
