They Can't Take Our Rights
Name: Jaxon (Joan)
Age: 18
Appearance: Jaxon's main pride is her mop of glossy caramel brown waves. She likes to flaunt her hair by rarely wearing it up, and feels unnatural in any sort of up do. She has a heart-shaped face, with a slightly pointed nose, a small, ample mouth, rosy cheeks, and wide olive-colored eyes framed by thick lashes and gracefully arched brows. Jax is of a fair complexion and burns to a crisp in the sun. She is short in stature, hardly 5'1", with connected earlobes (that's always bothered her), a slender neck, trim arms (kept in shape by her weapon of choice, the sledgehammer), a narrow waist, and wide hips and thighs (pretty much a hourglass/Vargas Girl figure). Her hands are small, and fingernails are always cut short. Jax has a mid-western American accent (think Dorothy Gale, from The Wizard of Oz.) It isn't any secret that she detests the Organization cloaks, and only wears hers when completely necessary. Otherwise, she's wearing a refined assortment of dresses, blouses and skirts.
Personality: In her finer moments, Jax is sunny, well-mannered and beguiling young woman. She cares deeply for her friends and instinctively defends them. Her pattern of thought has always been predominantly controlled by her emotions rather than logic, a trait that still lingers in undertones as a Nobody. She has never been a girl prone to being illusive or misleading. Rather, she can't help to be plainspoken and frank, and she isn't one to sugarcoat anything.
Due to a traumatic event in her childhood, Jaxon harbors a bit of a guilt complex. Once she has lost control of a situation and is not within her comfort zone, she withdraws behind a wall and becomes defensive and insulting. Because of her wealthy upbringing, Jaxon is also slightly vain, and assertive, never allowing her opinion to go unheard. This often causes problems, as she has difficulty taking orders and doesn't take kindly to being treated like a subordinate. She is a blatant hedonist, and does what she pleases. Expects respect and admiration from her peers, but believes hers has to be earned in return. Definitely has not come to terms with the fact she is a Nobody. The very thought of it brings out her worst habits and makes her even more brash and competitive.
What game are you from/or are you a OC: Jax is an OC.
History: Jaxon, or Joan, as she was named before she lost her heart, belonged to a well-to-do upper class family (comprised of her mother, father, herself and a younger sister named Sophi born two years after her) that sat at the center of the Radiant Garden's exclusive social circle. Her childhood was a privileged one in which everything lay at her fingertips. Joan was pampered and accustomed to an easy life, and, of course, getting whatever she wanted. For a time, Joan's existence was lavish and free of worries. She was a shallow girl then, judging based on worth and appearance and treating everyone, especially Sophi, as if they were expendable.
This peaceful routine was all turned on its head, however, when Jaxon was nine. One evening, the two sisters were wandering their large home completely unmonitored. Joan found a box of matches in a cupboard, left there by a maid after lighting a candelabra. Choosing to be foolish and feeling daring, Joan attempted striking a match on her shoe the way she had seen some man do on the street, despite her sister's insisting they put them back where Joan had found them. The match ignited, but the sudden flame startled her and caused to her drop the burning match on the carpet. A fire began almost instantly, spreading to some hanging curtains and shooting up the wall.
Terrified, Joan instructed Sophi to remain behind and try to put out the fire while she ran and got help. She bounded away to tell her parents, not realizing that would be the last time she ever saw her sister. Joan could only watch helplessly as her home went up in an inferno and brave men tried putting the fire out and vainly attempting to rescue Sophi. And just like that her sister was dead, with Joan to blame for it.
Her family was never the same again. A plane of frigid distance settled in between the three of them, and Joan's relationships with her parents withered. Though they would never admit it directly, Joan's parents placed the fault of their daughter's death on Joan. She was perfectly aware of this.
A few bleak years passed, and the threat of darkness came upon the Radiant Garden. It was overrun by Xehanort and the Heartless and the broken family was forced to relocate to Traverse Town. It was here that tragedy struck again, and Joan was consumed by the Heartless in the Second District one night.

We will fight
Weapon(s): Jax uses a pretty run-of-the-mill sledgehammer. It's blunt, unpleasant, and efficient, just like her. Despite its weight, she can strike with alarming speed and precision.
Powers: Upon becoming a Nobody, Jax developed the ability to control earth in all its forms, be it sand, dirt, dust, mud, or rock. It is within her capacity to whip up a sandstorm, maneuver boulders, cause minor earthquakes and sink a person into a pit of quicksand. She couples this attribute as the defense to her rather aggressive offense, and it makes her rather formidable.
How did you find us: I was linked to this site from A Moment Like This, where I play Princess Garnet, Lulu, and Demyx.
