A figure of a woman wandered around the streets of the town not being able to get a wink of sleep. She had tried everything and anything to go back to sleep. She just couldn't though. She seemed to have so much on her mind. Just when she was about to daze of into a pleasant sleep, she would just open her eyes and sit up thinking. Taking matters into her own hands she figured that it would be best to just try and walk it off. It was the middle of the night so everyone was asleep for the most part. She slid out of her nightdress and into her typical blue outfit then head out for a stroll.
The night was nice. A refreshing breeze was in the air. Not to cold or not to warm but it was still refreshing. It rain through her dark brown hair. The stars were shining brightly tonight as was the wide moon giving off a pleasant sort of light. She wasn't exactly sure where to go so she just walked around and thought out loud. She could go to the flower field, which was always a favorite place of hers. It was such a happy place with all of the different types of flowers and would give off the sweetest aroma, which was such a treat for the nose. But she would probably be reminded of him. And he was the reason that she couldn't sleep tonight. She couldn't help but thing about him, Squall Leonhart.
He was such a dear friend to her. And perhaps a bit more then a friend. She did love him with all of her heart. She had been through so much with him. He was her true hero. Perhaps he was the reason that she wasn't going over to the darkside with her Sorceress powers. Sure she was an upbeat and happy person but her greatest fear was to become an evil sorceress much like the ones who she had gotten her own powers from. She did make a promise with Squall about this and he promised that he wouldn't let the evil take her over. She would actually rather be dead then to live a life as an evil sorceress. But he had promised to protect her from this. How could she not help but love someone who would be willing to do that for her? Perhaps it was fate but as she walked randomly her feet took her to his house and when she looked up she saw Squall looking out the window.
The dark-haired girl smiled up at him, partly wondering why he was awake also. Maybe it was a sleepless night for him as well. Either way she was glad that he was awake. She waved her hand motioning for him to come down. She hoped that she would, unless he should decide to just go back to sleep. She just couldn't help but smile when she looked up at him either. It felt like she could just smile forever.
