"Different."
Kyuukei's eyes dart left and right, taking in his surroundings - head tilting to the side slightly as he looks about. He doesn't know this place and he doesn't think he ever will, because this isn't home. Even though it isn't, he doesn't wish to be there. Rather, it's to be united with the warriors of Cosmos - Warrior of Light, Firion, Cecil, Bartz, Terra, Cloud, Squall, Zidane, Tidus, Shantotto - everyone. Where they are and what they're doing is unknown to him, a little piece of knowledge that he'll possibly never be able to uncover. He misses them. He can't go back home, and he can't find them. Funny; how the people he once thought would scorn him are the same people he searches for years after.
His fingers linger on one of the silver trees, his green eyes hold a look of remorse and obvious longing for company. It's never given to him; and when it is, it's normally with someone he doesn't like - someone he has to eventually sacrifice himself for. Terra was alright, Cloud as well; and everyone else - but before their little battle, before everything: he'd thought them as a burden. The Onion Knight closes his eyes, and his knees give way from beneath him - causing him to fall to the ground with a firm grip on what parts of the tree trunk he can hold. The boy's so tempted to give up right now and there, because there's nothing left he can do and everything's so hopeless. Sadness engulfs him, swallows him whole, and he leans the side of his head against the tree - wishes for it to be a source of support. His lips are chapped. His heart is full of sorrow.
"Where are you?"
It's a question directed to no-one in particular. Traveling dimensions and through different worlds is difficult and tiring, and moreso when you've been doing it over and over again.
Where are they?
Where have they taken their pieces of me?
Why am I so alone?

GUMMIBEARS & CHOCOLATE HEARTS- - - MAKE ME THINK OF YOU Much like the boy that had stumbled under his tree, Tweedle Dee was very much lost. But unlike his soon-to-be new blonde friend, Tweedle Dee was quite the opposite of depressed. Of course, he had the only person he needed sitting not far from him, their dirty shoes swinging inches from his ear. And of course, their logic was far from similar. The new boy and Dee's that is. Dee did not find being thrown from world to world as a burden or confusing. It was not at all confusing. They were being placed in different places for no reason at all. That was logic. The reason was that there was no reason. Simple and to the point.
That was precisely why he did not understand, nor really care, why the boy had dropped like he'd been beaten in a battle. His voice was weak when it sounded and Dee, who was a genius in all subjects, felt his ears twitch toward the sentence. He snorted, removing his arms from batting Tweedle Dum's feet away, to place them on either side of his hips. The grin that over took his face was confidant and matter-of-factly. "You mean, of course, 'where is You.'" He watched the boy for a brief moment, waiting for him to realize his own mistake and give thanks. Dee tilted his head up to look at Dum, whose mouth was open, tongue half out, about to lick the silver branch that jutted out in front of him. He had stopped however, first to look at Dee, than to the boy, than back. His mouth closed, head cocking as he smiled almost dreamily back.
Dee nodded swiftly to him and jumped down, landing beside the knight. "For example," he began, standing a bit awkwardly to look at his backside as he brushed silver bark from his clothing, "I wouldn't say 'where are Dee.'" His straightened, glowing violet eyes finding the stranger. "Contrariwise, I should never need to ask myself where I am." It was obvious, to anyone that had ventured the madness of Wonderland, where Dee (and Dum as well) had learned to grin. His eyes were half-mast, grin broad and unnerving in large doses. And it remained constant, like the inconstant cat they had learned it from.
His lesson over, Dee took a step toward him, grabbing his hand regardless of any, or lack thereof, protest. His lidded eyes opened wide in a joyous look. "How do you do!" He gave the hand a good, firm shake, than stepped back again. The look on his face was expectant, and above the two boys, Tweedle Dum slunk down a few branches, peering down at them curiously. After the handshake and cheerful question to the other's health, Dum's eyes too slid to the knight, grinning lazily. The look did not last long, for Dee caught his movement, calling him down with narrowed eyes. "Dum, knowing manners isn't as important as using them."
A mirror image save the extreme fashion of his oddly natural hair, Dum let himself fall to the ground, landing beside his brother. He repeated the other's actions, the lazy smirk never leaving his face. "How do you do~!" And then, they both stared, suddenly still and silent, two identical pairs of expectant eyes locking the knight in place. He couldn't run if he tried.
