The river of Moonflow. Majestic and long, it ran through the heart and soul of Spira. Many people came to this river to just sit on the edge and put their feet in and enjoy the wind against your face and the water splashing against your legs. Well, at least that’s what one girl was doing. The girl was seated on the edge of the river, her bare feet dipping in to the shallow part of the river, and her eyes closed. She had gotten lost here a couple of times and she had found this place to be very relaxing and she didn’t have to worry too much about being bothered by anything or anyone. She wouldn’t have minded some company, but at the same time it felt like such a good break to get away.
The girl’s semi long blonde hair fluttered lightly around her, and her dark blue eyes were still covered by her eyeslids. She took a deep breath, then opened her eyes. She looked to the side to make sure her while sandals were still placed right beside her. She then looked up at the sky. She wondered why she had not found this relaxing place sooner. She then took her feet out of the water, shaking them off one by one before placing them back in her sandals. The woman took one last look at the place she was sitting before alongside the river, the knee length white dress she was wearing fluttering a bit around her legs due to the slight wind gusts. Well, she assumed it was time to find her way back to Tenebrae, if she could anyways. Usually when she had tried to get back to Tenebare, the girl ended up elsewhere.
She started to walk off, but she heard something around her. She froze for a moment before turning and scanning around her area. She shrugged, letting it go and continuing forward. But once more she heard something and she forced herself to stop. This time she decided she wouldn’t move, and once more she looked around her. She was sure she was the only one here at the moment, unless someone was coming and she didn’t know it. She then mustered another deep breath before she felt her mouth move and her voice come out.
“Hello, it anyone else there?”

Vincent looked about. This was not Midgar. Or if it was, it was no part of Midgar he'd ever been to. He appeared to be in some kind of forest. He walked forwards as silently as always, as there was no better way to determine your location. There was no reason to be quiet, it was just the way he was. Only twice did he step on a twig, making a loud snap. He heard the sound of flowing water. A river. He moved in that direction. Shortly after the second loud snap of a twig he heard a voice. Ah, so he wasn't alone. He moved towards the voice and very quickly came upon a clearing. He saw a girl, perhaps just out of adolesence. She appeared to be frozen, as if afraid she was being followed. Well, he might as well aleviate her fears.
[black]I apologize if I startled you. My name is Vincent Valentine. I would appreciate it if you could tell me where I am.[/black]

Stella looked as a man came out of nowhere it seemed and was standing behind her. She tilted her heard and she took in how the man looked. Long black hair, long red coat and he just looked overall strange. She wondered if she looked strange to him as well. When he introduced himself and asked for her to tell him where they were, she stayed silent. She was not sure what to say. She was still caught very off guard that he even showed up, she was sure no one came to this part of the river. But eventually the shocked look on her face dropped and she let her expression change from being socked to having a warm smile.
"Hello Vincent, my name is Stella Nox Flueret. And I do believe I have heard people around here calling this river Moonflow. Really I have only been here a few times, but it is really a beautiful place."
She continued to smile warmly at him. She was getting more comfortable with how he looks and his sudden appearance. She really couldn't tell him how to exactly get back where he was coming from, since it was pretty obvious he was lost. In fact she was pretty sure she didn't even know exactly how to get back to Tenebrae from here, she would just wing it and end up somewhere, and then somehow end up right back here. So she was not sure what to tell him next. She had to think about it for a few moments, but eventually she just smiled and she came up with something in her mind to say about his location.
"I kind of know how to get out of here, but I am not sure where you will end up, I haven't been able to get home yet. I can't guarantee it will lead you home either."

Vincent was glad that she didn't feel threatened by him. The last thing he wanted to do was end up in a fight with her. He stepped closer, pleased that she was so generous with her information.
[red]It's a pleasure to meet you, Stella. I hope that you wouldn't mind showing me this exit of yours. This....Moonflow is beautiful, but I would like to head back. There are some things that need my attention.[/red]
Of course he spoke of Sephiroth, but he wasn't going to tell her that. If she knew who Sephiroth was -and who didn't?- she probably wasn't going to help him. After all, who wants to get near that psychopath if they could help it?

"Oh of course, right this way!"
Stella gave a small smile at Vincent. Well why not, he seemed lost and in a hurry to leave anyways. She decided she would walk faster without her flip flops on, so carefully one foot after the other she stepped off and out of them. From there she squatted down and picked up the shoes with the middle finger of her right hand by the straps. She then stood up, looking back at Vincent for a second. She once more took in his rather odd appearance, especially his one...hand. She made it seem like she was looking back to see if he would follow her when she started off, but in all reality she was checking to make sure to see if she could trust him or not, if not she would just pull out her rapier right now and make him leave.
But it seemed okay to trust him, so she turned her back to him and started walking forward, assuming Vincent would follow. Stella pushed through rather large plants that were settled at the side of the river, and didn't seem to mind how the ground would sometimes hurt her bare feet. She was used to it by now, and since he was in a hurry she felt the need to walk a bit faster, which would only be achieved with her not wearing her shoes. She also remained silent as they walked along towards the "exit". She was not sure what she should talk to him about. She could ask him where he was from, but she doubted that she would ever know seeing as all the odd places she had ended up lately. She just had no idea what to say, and this was odd coming from her.

Vincent noticed her looking him over, especially at his left hand. Many assumed it was prosthetic at first, it didn't really bother him any more. The gauntlet did appear to be a prosthetic hand. He didn't act as if he noticed though and followed her. He got right behind her, watching her closely. It was strange. She seemed sincere about helping him, a stranger in the woods.
[red]I am deeply indebted to you. This is a great act of kindness on your part.[/red]
He meant his words with sincerity. It had been a long time since somebody had helped him with such altruistic motives. It was strange to him.
