When she looked up at the sky, she saw a storm of light crashing down. She saw showers of sparks fly about. The anger of the storm clearly reflected in her own face, the malice of the blond girl in a black coat. Her schemes were as deadly, her anger as much. The lightning appeared as blond as her hair, which didn’t even come to her shoulders. Her shimmering eyes, glittering with hatred at the moment, glittered on the blades of her knives, which were as horrific as the storm. Her hatred was great as the darkness of her coat. She didn’t know what had compelled her to come here, to The World That Never Was, especially cause there wasn’t much left. She liked how the rain fit the mood of the place.
It was sad. Much like how she pretended to feel. She shook her head and was relieved she kept her hood and gloves on. If she didn’t, she couldn’t attack a person if they had been stupid enough to mess with the Savage Nymph. Still, the rain was pelting against her face. As Lightning shot across the sky, she smiled at it from the cold, wet, stone floor. For some reason, she felt like laying here, even though it felt like a nightmare. She couldn’t remember what she had been doing previous to laying here, but, the next minute, she was here letting the rain pelt her face.
At first, she had gotten up and yelled “Hello? Anyone here? Axel? Marluxia!?” But, when they hadn’t answered, she had given up and just laid back down. She assumed everyone was dead. She remembered the days when they were still in the castle. She remembered threatening to break Demyx’s sitar, stealing Xigbar’s guns., making fun of Axel’s red hair, and even making plans behind Xemnas’ back with Marluxia. Hell, she even missed that pain-in-the-neck Zexion, and the even worse Saix. Even, she supposed, the tiny midget Roxas, who was probably taller than her by now if he was still alive.

Marluxia walked from one of the shadows to stand before Larxene, a Nobody he had been looking for and was pleased to find. His features showed distaste though, she had called out for Axel. "Why ruin everything and speak that traitors name, Larxene?" He made a motion with his hand as to wave away Axel's name, it wasn't worth speaking to him. The Flurry of Dancing Flame was a disgusting excuse for a Nobody, and Marluxia hoped that he rotted in the depths of Nothingness forever, it would not be fitting for him to be doing otherwise.
"When did you return?" Marluxia was more then curious, if Larxene had returned exactly when he had, then that most likely meant that all of the other Nobody's had returned as well. If the times were different though, then that meant that some of them might have not come back yet, or never will. He could not help but hope that more then a choice few would stay dead, but that would be far to convenient for Marluxia. The Graceful Assassin had learned from Castle Oblivion that convenience was not something he was allowed to enjoy.
He looked around for a moment, taking in the view of The World That Never Was. A dreary place by all accounts, Marluxia had always understood why Xemnas chose this planet as their world. It represented their nothingness in full, better then any other planet ever could. He did not like it though, the lack of colorful disappointed Marluxia, he much more enjoyed the blinding white of Castle Oblivion to the dead gray of this world. He looked back on Larxene, pleased to have found her.

Larxene blinked twice when she heard his voice. Marluxia. She tilted her head to where she could see him in her line of view, but stayed on the floor with the rain pelting her. Her lips curved themselves into a maniacal grin. “Marluxia. To what do I owe this catastrophic visit?” She considered standing up and brushing herself off, but she really didn’t feel like it. Besides, why should she be the one to stand up? Couldn’t the Flower boy just lay down beside her or even sit down several steps away from her. Whatever. As long as she got to lay here and watch the lightning, the marvelous lightning, flash over there heads, she was perfectly fine.
“Besides. As long as I don’t see Axel, I’m perfectly fine with mentioning him whenever I want to. However, if I happen to see him, I won’t hesitate to skin him alive. I assume I can expect the same thing from you, Marly?” She allowed her gaze to rest on him for a couple of seconds more before dragging them back up at the sky, blinking only when water landed on or near her eyes. She didn’t really care for Axel, that was a fact, but nor was she going to pick a fight when she didn’t even know if he was alive. Well, as alive as he could get without a heart like the rest of them. Oh well. Who cared?
She frowned at his question. When had she come back? A day ago? An hour? The time had certainly passed right by her that she wasn’t entirely sure. For all she knew, it could have been a week. No. She couldn’t have gone that long without eating something. Maybe it was only a day or two…“What does it matter?” She snapped without meaning to. Who cared at what time she had managed to come back from wherever the hell she had gone to. What was important was that, by some miracle, she had come back. To tell the truth, Larxene didn’t really care if she did or not. “I don’t know. A day or so ago?”

Marluxia studied Larxene as she lay prone, waiting for her to answer his question. He didn't care about her laying down watching the storm, Marluxia knew well of the Savage Nymph's fixation with lightning, just as he was as fixated with nature and the beauty it represented. He gave her a small smirk as she asked to what she owed the pleasure of his visit, a pointless question but one he would answer none the less. "I've simply been searching for you, Larxene. It seems that I appear to be more dedicated to our relationship then you, which I find to be disappointing to say the least."
He was not completely serious of course, though Marluxia was truly disappointed that Larxene did not seem to be searching for him as he was for her. In the end it did not matter, his relationship with the Savage Nymph did not mean much because of the lack of their hearts, and thus he could not feel any form of heart-break at Larxene's apparent apathy. He gave a nod as she spoke of Axel, saying that she would skin him at sight. He ignored the use of Larxene's pet name for him, he did not truly care whether or not she used it. "If Axel is unfortunate enough to come back from the depths of nothing, and unfortunate he would be if he does, then I will make it more then a goal to ensure that Axel will at the very least suffer for his betrayal."
He did nothing as Larxene snapped at him, asking what it mattered when she came back. He remained silent for a few moments, certain in the fact that the Savage Nymph would answer his question if only he gave her a small fortune of time. She was a tricky one to deal with, but he had spent a long while in her company and believed to have her at least somewhat worked out. "So we both came back around the same time. It seems we have an investigation on our hands, Larxene."

Larxene snorted in a very un-lady like manner. But, then again, no one ever accused her of being a ‘proper lady’ and lived to tell of it, anyway. Ever so slowly, she sat up. Her moment of looking at the magnificent lightning was obviously over. And just who did she have to thank for this moment? The one and only flower boy. Not that she was too angry, since, of course, she obviously couldn’t be. She glowered at him for a couple of seconds before sliding into another smile. “Relationship? I wasn’t aware we were in one. Are you sure you didn’t just come up with this, Marly? I’m sure it was the result of always being by your stupid little girly flowers.”
In all honesty. She had been searching for him. At first. But then she had simply gotten bored and had given up when the storm had started. Having always liked lightning, and not necessarily the stupid rain, she naturally found a spot where she could enjoy it. Since Marluxia had rudely interrupted, she only felt that it was natural she attacked him back. But, she hadn’t lied. She had gone on, maybe blissfully, unaware that she had been in a relationship with the pink haired man in front of her. Or maybe she hadn’t, and she just didn’t want to admit she had forgotten something. Larxene knew he wasn’t too hurt either. Just as she wouldn’t have been if they had been in opposite roles. It wasn’t as if she had broken his delicate heart seeing as he, like all the other members and nobodies, had no heart to be broken in the first place. “Marluxia.” She said calmly pretending to observe her nails through her gloves, though it would be impossible to do so. “The Flurry of Dancing Flame would scorch your Graceful Assassin butt within a minute.”
She knew that he knew, or hope that he knew, that she was just teasing him, although she was quite certain she was correct. She glanced up at the sky one more time, catching a flash of lighting dash across the dark sky, before getting to her feet. She brushed herself off as best she could before pulling the zipper to her coat a little higher. She lifted an eyebrow at him before shrugging slightly. “That may be so, Flower-boy. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to lift a finger to help with it. What if we’re all slowly coming back according to the way we died? If so, let that be. I mean, we both died around the same time, didn’t we?” She shrugged at her logic before taking the needed steps to close the small gap between them. She stopped walking only when she was in front of him, and she left only enough space to be able to cross her arms without touching him.

Marluxia placed his hand to his chest in an expression of mock injury. "Larxene, how deeply your words wound me." He let his hand fall back down to his side a moment later, he was not truly hurt, or anywhere near insulted. He expected no less of the Savage Nymph. She was a cruel mistress, in more ways then one he supposed. He didn't even care to Larxene's reference of his flowers, he had never been bothered by that in the first place. He understood that not all loved the delicate beauty flowers were made of as he should, at least if he had a heart. "Alas I suppose you are correct, how could heartless beings such as us even try to hold up the facade of a relationship?"
The words served no purpose other then dramatic effect, but that was one of the few ways Marluxia preferred to speak. He used a monotone voice much like Xemnas or Saix, but he saw no point in dulling down the manner of words, the flourish with which he spoke them. He noticed that Larxene was nearing full-kick now, that her mock anger was coming to bear as usual. Had it always been so easy to pretend the volatile Larxene, or was she simply on edge about something this time? Was it perhaps the thunderstorm that he had so rudely interrupted? Marluxia cared not, there would be many more storms for her to gaze at with her usual fascination.
He resisted the urge to roll his eyes as Larxene spoke again, saying that he did not stand a chance against the Flurry of Dancing Flames. Marluxia would admit to the fact that Axel was a formidable opponent, but combat was not the only tool at the Graceful Assassin's disposal. "It warms me so to know that you have placed such trust in me, Larxene. Perhaps I will express similar notions in the future?" He was of course giving a small reference, a barely noticeable one, to Larxene's performance against Sora. Of course he had faltered against the Keyblader as well, but his defeat was far more situational then the Savage Nymph's had been.
He gave a slight frown as Larxene spoke, telling him to let things be. The Savage Nymph, telling him to leave something alone? Did she not live for excitement? Or at the very least something to keep her from being bored? "Now now Larxene, you and I both know that we cannot simply afford to leave it alone. Axel would not be the only thorn in our side, what if Xemnas were to return? I would rather know if he had any intentions of doing away with us for our actions at Castle Oblivion. Finding answers would be in our best interest, unless you intend on simply giving up?"

Larxene snorted and shook her head. “Of course they do Marly.” She said sarcastically. “However, if you keep that up, I’ll really be sure to give you something to whine about.” She threatened. Yet, by the comment, she was sure he didn’t really mind about her earlier comment. She was even sure he wasn’t to “mad” about the flower comment. Frankly, she knew he wasn’t because of three reasons. One, Marluxia, like her, was incapable of really being mad,. Two, he was probably used to it by now, and he had known her longer, and more than likely the best, so he knew she was generally a cruel person who would not hesitate to tell anyone what was on her mind, regardless of they were “hurt” by it. In fact, she lived to do that. She lived to hurt other people just to amuse herself.
Even if Marluxia was her friend, up to the highest degree of friendship that anyone could reach with her, that didn’t excuse him from her constant verbal, and eventually physical, attacks. “Of course I’m right.” She said with a dramatic wave of her hand before resting it under her chin. “Although, I wouldn’t have put it in such a girly and dramatic manner such as you have done.” She grinned, maliciously, at him before turning around and walking away from slightly. Not because he was making her angry, although he was doing so quite successfully, but because she wanted to add dramatic affect to herself. She stopped walking to stare up at the sky a little before turning her head around to give Marluxia a blank stare.
She glowered slightly and whirled around, crossing her arms in the process. It was just like Marluxia to bring up her fight with Sora. She curled her lip upwards and gave him a menacing stare. “May I remind you that I was not the only one who failed at Castle Oblivion, or have you already forgotten how your attempts were as futile as mine were? That you, too, made a fool out of yourself?” Larxene was very well ready to summon her knifes and gorge Marluxia’s eyes out, or even just doing that with her bare hands. She felt her hands twitch, just aching to get into another fight, but she reminded herself that she had to stay calm. She had to be calm, especially in the face of something aggravating her to no end. If this face just so happen to be Marluxia’s, then so be it. But she refused to get in the fight in the midst of a perfectly good storm.
Larxene rolled her eyes. “Who’s to say Xemnas is going to return? Who’s to say that we’re not the only two members of the Organization that have returned? Besides that, it’s not my problem at the current moment, Marly. I’m perfectly fine the way I am, right now. Just standing, or laying down, right here until the storm passes. After that, who knows? Maybe I will look for some answers. Look for a fight, or just anger you until the boredom that’s sure to come after the storm passes, which it most likely won’t.” She paused for a second. “Besides that. If he is, indeed, gone, then, when he comes back, don’t you think he’ll be more interested in eliminating Sora? After all, I think it’s safe to assume that Sora was the one to foil Xemnas’ plans. If that is indeed the case, then Xemnas more than likely won’t do anything to us until Sora is out of the way. He’ll need anyone he can get. Especially since I doubt Axel, Roxas, or even Xion are going to help him.”[/color]
