The memory witch exited from a portal, walking slowly along the beach. This world...the homeworld of Sora, Kairi and Riku. She knew it all to well. She knew where the beach was, the houses, Who lived in what house, anything you wanted to know about this world, Namine could be the one to tell you. But the odd thing was, Namine had never actually been to this world. She only knew things based on Sora's memories. As well as Kairi's since she was her Nobody. She didn't really know what compelled her to visit this world in paticular. Maybe because this world was important to the memory of Sora and Kairi. And for some reason it seemed to hold some importance to her. As well as a bit of guilt, since it made her remember all of the bad that she had done back on Castle Oblivion.
Erasing all of Sora's memories and making him believe that she was Kairi. She hated thinking back to what she had down. Made her feel so guilty. Even though she had done what she could to make up for those sins, some guilt still lived in her and she didn't know why. She wondered if it was maybe just her. She wasn't a bad person, but often times she felt like she was. It hadn't been her decision to erase Sora's memories. She did it because she had to. She was used as a tool. Did that make her a bad person? Should she have tried to fight for it more. She wasn't exactly strong enough to do something like that...was she? Often doubting herself and lacking confidence.
Namine looked around noticing that pretty much no one was on the beach. It was oddly quiet. Part of her had been hoping to see Sora and Kairi wandering around. It was always very pleasant to see them. She noticed the dock and how the sun was setting. It almost made the water sparkle. So pretty. Namine could just stare at it all day if she could. Made her feel relaxed and forget about everything for a moment. She climbed on the doc, her feet dangling off the top. She looked down at her reflection in the water and then back up to the sky. So peaceful.

It was getting late, and the Secret Place had grown cold. There was an unearthly sound emanating from the hole in the top, but Kairi knew it was just the wind--even if the sound always seemed to put Sora on edge when she was in here with him. She shifted, finally getting up, and hissed in pain at the feel of sand and dirt against her knees. In the time she'd been sitting there, carving out a picture in the stone, the ground had turned her knees red and porous. It was just as well...she didn't really need to be adding to the drawings there anymore. They were remnants of a childhood that had ended the moment the three of them left the islands.
Maybe a sketchbook, she thought, and a flash of memory told her she'd had one...once. But that wasn't right. It had to have been a dream.
Outside, the wind wasn't howling like it was in the Secret Place, but there was a strong breeze and Kairi reached up to keep the wind from blowing her hair in her face. Sora and Riku didn't drop by. That's too bad... For some reason it felt like they'd come today, but she was used to these little disappointments. They had more important things to be concerned about, and she'd always be here. Not left behind, but protected, she told herself.
That said, she wasn't expecting to see anyone familiar when she headed for the dock, and for some reason when she saw the blond orb of Naminé's head bowed over the water her first thought was of Sora. She hesitated, eyes wide and a strand of red-black tickling at her lips. Naminé...? The sight of her was always calming and familiar, like setting eyes on a sister Kairi had known all her life, and she broke into something of a jog up to the dock. "Naminé! Hi there," she said, coming to a stop a little ways behind her Nobody. "I didn't know you'd come back to the islands." Wait...had she really come "back" to the islands? It felt like she had--like she'd always been here. But maybe that was just the part of her that was Kairi. "How are you?" she added, letting her right hand rest on her forearm behind her.
